About the Founder
Kimberly Orliczky, M.A.. BCBA, is the Clinical Director and founder of Autism Solutions for Kids. She has received training and attended workshops from the Center for Autism and Related Disorders, The Regional Center of Orange County, The Orange County Department of Education and Pepperdine University, in addition to, numerous specialty training workshops. Her training includes behavior management techniques, social skills training, applied verbal behavior theory, and the application of discrete trial training and direct teaching techniques.
Kimberly Orliczky's experience has utilized a 1:1 approach to teach pre-school academics and phonics to nonverbal and verbal children; Behavior Shaping and Behavior Analysis to identify problem behaviors and teach appropriate alternatives; Parent Effectiveness Training to facilitate family use of behavior modification techniques; Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) with non-verbal children; Theory of Mind Techniques and School Shadow with children placed in mainstreamed or fully included settings. Experience includes providing service for children of various developmental levels, ranging in age from two years old to 17 years old.
Kimberly Orliczky received her B.A. in Psychology from San Diego State University and her M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University. Kimberly Orliczky was employed by the Center for Autism and Related Disorders from 10/96 to 10/97 where she provided over 1500 hours of one to one intensive behavior program intervention and services to children with autism spectrum disorders.
Kimberly Orliczky began working as an independent contractor providing the following services from 1/98 to 6/2000:
* One to one intervention,
* ABA training,
* Program coordination & development,
* And consultation
In July 2000, Kimberly Orliczky, M.A. BCBA, founded Autism Solutions for Kids as a Non Public Agency. Autism Solutions for Kids is dedicated the education of children diagnosed with Autism.
From July 2000 until present, Kimberly Orliczky, M.A. BCBA, has provided over 1000 hours of Supervision, Program Development and Coordination for home-based services, in addition to Shadow/ Teacher coordination.
In December 2003, Kimberly Orliczky, M.A, BCBA, received certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
In 2011, Kimberly Orliczky, M.A., BCBA, became certified trainer for Children’s Friendship Training and PEERS.
